National First Responders Day

National First Responders Day, celebrated every year on October 28th, is a special day to thank
the brave heroes who respond first in emergencies. These include our firefighters, police officers, telecommunicators (911 call-takers), and emergency medical services (EMS) personnel. These everyday heroes work hard to keep us safe, often risking their own lives to help others in need.

About the 911 Heroes Art Contest

This year, RapidDeploy, in partnership with NCT911, invites young artists across Texas to join
a creative celebration of our 911 heroes in honor of National First Responders Day. Through this
art contest, we encourage students to express their thanks and show how much they appreciate
the first responders who help keep our communities safe and strong.

Theme:
Honoring Our 911 and All First Responder Heroes

Your artwork should showcase the important work of firefighters, police officers, telecommunicators (911 call-takers), and EMS personnel. Whether it’s a firefighter putting out a fire, a 911 operator calmly helping someone in need, or a police officer keeping the streets safe—celebrate all of our first responder heroes in your art!
